What a week

What a week I have had.....

Wednesday
I went to Paignton to visit a customer, was a little early for the appointment, parked up beside a big lorry, he drove out, and crashed into me, damaging the bonnet, front wing, door panel, wrecking tyre and alloy, you should see the mess he made, and then continued to drive off, not knowing what damage I chased him down the road, forced him to stop, jumped out my car, and said, oh dear, you appear to have hit my car (or words to that effect), he said he didn't see me, and thought the noise was his load moving!!! Anyway we exchanged details and he drove away leaving me alone, in the wind and rain, car undriveable (after seeing the damage), Gary had to come up from Plymouth to help me.

Think it's odd that the lorry driver didn't get out of his truck to check his damage, my damage or even ask was I alright (I was very shocked, cold and upset).

Insurance company have been brilliant, sorted out recovery, courtesy car, and are pushing to get the work done ASAP, as am due to collect my new car on 1st.

On Friday, we were due to go to St Ives for a short break, had lots of calls, quick visit to garage to sort out new car, and also to report accident to police because of the strange behaviour of the driver. We still went to St Ives, it was a lovely break, weather was a kittle bit misty at times but not cold.
