Good morning

Good morning Peeps

What a week - I had a bit of an accident in work and basically have damaged tendons in my right hand and arm, and I am right handed, so as you can imagine it's causing a few difficulties. I have got a splint on the wrist to keep it stable, not a very comfortAble thing to keep on.

Same old...same old at work, nothing changes there.

No new pictures to post at the moment.

I am having a day off of crafting on Saturday, mainly due to my hand as it's difficult to do anything at the moment. Going to do a few job at home which I need to do.

Hope life is treating you well,

Big Sort out

Last night I started the BIG sort out of my craft stash, its frightening when you realise how much was spent originally.

If you know of someone or a school/group who would like some stash, watch this space, as I am sure that some will become available.

The good news is that I have found some lovely hidden treasures which had been stored in boxes, so have some 'new' items to play with......ooooohhh can't wait.

I even found some embroidery which I started many years ago, (and anyone who knows me will know that I hate anything to do with sewing and needles), but I might be tempted to try and finish it at some time.)
I have to say its nothing very technical.

You can tell I have put some photos onto my computer at long last as I have some to show you.....

These are three more photos of my neighbours, at different anniversarys over the years.

Pictures from the 'special album'

My elderly neighbours, Joan and Henry are celebrating their 60th Diamond Wedding Anniversary and Joan asked me to do a scrapbook for her with their wedding photos (and others), it ended up with two full scrapbooks and lots of photos left over. These are just a few of my favourites.
It was a lovely thing to be asked to do.

They were really pleased with the albums, and I hope that they have much pleasure from looking at the pictures in the future.

March Challenge

Its that time again, (for me to try and link the Just Tracys challenge onto my Blog)

Above is my Design Team Card, made using one of my favourite stamps, have had it in my stash for a long time now, and its become one of my ultimate favourite stamps. Inked and stamped using Tim Holtz distress inks,

March is the month for HATS, so you need to show us anything - LO's, Cards, Altered items, anything as long as the subject includes a Hat.

As usual the winner receives a £15 voucher to be used in Just Tracys. Well worth taking the time to win, we all love the chance of winning more stash of our choice.

I am looking forward to seeing all of your projects

Craft Room Sunday

Morning All

Gary's golf was cancelled today, so my Sunday has changed slightly.

He has built me another work area in my craft room, sorted out some lighting, helped me move units and all things heavy, so now I have just got to spend some hours sorted out and putting away all my craft stuff..... its going to be a long job.

Bless him, he has also cut and fitted my rubber boot liner from the old car into my nice shiny new A1, tidied the garage a little and also sorted out the landing light socket.

He is now having a rest whilst watching some cricket on the TV.

I have been commenting on Just Tracys challenge blog entries (that reminds me I need to put a post on here regarding the challenge - if I can remember how to do it.....watch this space.)

I have also downloaded some photos from my big camera, have got the two smaller ones to do as well, and then I hope to put some onto my blog and FB. (about time I hear you say)

The sun has now come out and the room is bathed in lovely light, makes you feel so much better doesn't it.

I am going to have a quick slice of toast and then get some stuff together to pop down to Tracys for a couple of hours of playtime before coming back to the mayhem which is my craft room at the moment.

Had a great day down there yesterday doing my first ever paperbag workshop with Jill and a lovely small group of ladies. Again I will get a photo on here soon of my creation.

My project for my neighbours 60th Diamond Wedding Anniversary was well received, apparently it made her cry when she started reminiscing about the day (in a nice way). Their photo was in the local paper. I forgot to ask if they received a 'telegram' from the Queen.

Better go and get myself ready to go out.
